Sue Mynttinen
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College and am currently working toward becoming a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts. I work with teens and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and major life changes. I am also developing a clinical focus in women’s mental health, with a special interest in supporting women through the changes that come with menopause. I am committed to providing an inclusive, affirming, and LGBTQIA+ supportive space where every client feels safe, respected, and accepted.
I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on your unique strengths. Together, we'll work to better understand what's getting in the way of the life you want and build practical tools to help you manage difficult emotions, improve relationships, cope with life's challenges, and feel more confident in yourself.
I tailor therapy to each person's needs, drawing from proven approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care.
My goal is to help you gain the skills, confidence, and support you need to face life's challenges and create a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
